So in honour of having a skin without paying, here's a journal. However, I don't have much to say. Tres busy, will get some fireworky type pics up soons.
Latest news - just back from a kids sailing camp - teaching 11-14yr old boys about God and how to sail. Woohoo! Was great fun except one of my crew was an absolute pain in the behind, and my mate (2nd in command on my boat) was ill most of the week so I had to pretty much entertain/control my unruly crew, and teach them to sail, and sail safely myself and make sure we didn't crash etc, and be a first time skipper of a boat, and make sure they were doused in suncream and weren't dehydrating (hot week in Norfolk!). Also there was a 24 hr bug going round, which I've just contracted since getting home (bugger), so I've not had the best week, but it's a mark of how awesome the whole thing is that I still loved it and want to go back next year (been going the last 4 consecutive years as a mate, and this year as a skipper). Hopefully I'll have better luck with my boat etc next year!
Anyway, obviously some pics to follow, though not sure about the organisation rules on allowing photos of kids to be put up - all the parents gave permission except one, so we can put pics up on the internet, but I might just avoid it on here since parents won't know they'll be here and you get some dodgy types (although I have some legendary and highly comical photos of the boys (see facebook I guess)!)
I went to Goodwood yesterday to the Festival of Speed (woot woot!), so I'll be chucking a few pics up soon from that. Was a fantastic day out and I got a little sunburnt whilst watching the rally cars. I had suncream on the ready in case and everything, just got a little distracted by the fun and the pretty. oops.
Well, hard work paid off, and although I'm not allowed to take away my model until September, I managed to get 80% in it (a first being 70+) so I'm well happy with that! It considerably pulled up my average for this year too, which is always a bonus!
So thanks to those who helped out and gave me some good tips, totally paid off!
PS: Taffy is gorgeous and I've taken a few pics now, will try and see if any came out okay and upload them if so. She's moving all her bedding around at the moment, quite a commotion going on in her box lol.
btw, my mood isn't anxious, it just won't load up the other moods lol.
Just giving you fine people a heads up in the new part of my life. When I was little, my brother bought me a rat. She was called Kimi, and absolutely adorable. However, we moved house a few years later and I couldn't take her along. Most upsetting.
Anyway, a coule of weeks ago, some dude let loose a rat in his friend's room, and a friend of mine ended up looking after said rat. Poor thing was only a baby and probably completely terrified by the whole affair. Anyway, Colin looked after her well, and has just passed her onto me to take home for the summer.
She's brown and white with red eyes (in a cute, not scary way), and I think I'm gona call her Taffy...but not positive yet. If anyone has any good ideas, give me a shout!
Await some pictures of her uploaded here in the near future!
